Two-factor security
When you create an account with inMobile, you log in with your password and then an additional code that is sent to your email.
This is because two-factor security (2FA) is enabled by default on all accounts.
Two-factor security means that you need to verify your login with an extra code in addition to your password. This adds an extra layer of protection to your account.
You can change your 2FA method to SMS or an authentication app at any time. See below how to do it.
How to change the 2FA method
-
Log in to your account
Log in to your inMobile account and click on your username in the bottom left corner.
Then click on "Two-factor security". -
Request a code
Request a code via your current 2FA method (it defaults to email if you haven't changed it before). -
Enter code and click "Change"
Enter code and click "Change 2FA method". -
Select new 2FA method
You can now choose to use email, SMS or an authentication app as your 2FA method. Select your preferred method, request a code, enter the code and click "Enable two-factor security". -
The method has been updated
You have now changed the 2FA method to your preferred device.
