There is no cost per SMS you receive from the mobile user.
A keyword is the first word the mobile user types in the message to a shortcode (e.g. 1245). It provides access to two-way communication with the mobile user and is used for multiple functions.
With a virtual phone number, you get access to two-way communication where the mobile user can answer anything back. Mobile users pay the normal SMS rate when sending to the number.
