Whitelist email addresses or domains

For added security, you will need to specify which email addresses are authorised to send SMS messages via email to SMS. This means that only whitelisted email addresses can send Email to SMS via inMobile.

The company domain can be authenticated if you want all employees to be authenticated.

Define your sender name

You can choose the sender name of the SMS message. Write your company name so that it's the first thing the mobile user sees when they receive the text message.

If you use a text sender instead of a phone number, the mobile user will not be able to reply to the SMS message. If you need 2-way communication where the mobile user is able to reply to your SMS message, use a virtual phone number instead.

Receive replies to your text messages

If you want to receive replies to your SMS messages, you can easily purchase a virtual phone number. The recipient simply replies to the SMS message and the reply will then be sent to your email.

Remove email signature and HTML elements

An email signature often contains information that is not relevant in an SMS message. This could be the company's logo, address, etc. By entering a specific text in the Email to SMS setup, all or part of the signature can be removed automatically.

Internal communication

Send important messages to your employees via SMS. Anything from breakdown information, scheduled service windows, or even a Christmas greeting.

Dear all.

We have to disconnect the IT network at 12 noon for about 10 minutes. Remember to save your work before the interruption. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Payment reminders on SMS

The mobile phone is the user's most personal object. A delinquent payer will feel that you are getting very close and will be more inclined to pay their outstanding balance.

Waterworks

Hi Lars.

You have an outstanding balance of DKK 645.45, which we ask you to pay within 8 days. If we do not receive the payment, the case will be transferred to debt collection and thus incur additional costs.

Regards. Waterworks

"We've had more success with SMS than email, as not everyone sees the email. First of all, it's important that the service used is ready when we pick it up, and if a customer has something they're unhappy with, our customer service needs to make contact with them immediately. Here, SMS messaging is simply the only way to communicate with the customer."
