Link shortener in email to SMS

Shortening links in SMS saves you unnecessary characters while increasing the credibility of your link and potentially your click-through rate.

Do you send SMS messages via the "Email to SMS" feature? Then you have the option to shorten links in your SMS messages. It's smart for a number of reasons. One reason is that an SMS message is limited to 160 characters, so a long link can end up taking up a disproportionate amount of space.

In addition, inMobile shortens your links in the most credible way, so your brand name is still in the link. This increases your click-through rates and therefore the recipients' engagement with your SMS messages.

How to use link shortener in Email to SMS

Before you get started: In order to use inMobile's link shortener, you need to have created a subdomain. See how to do it here: Setting up a subdomain.

Benefits of shortened links

Optimising your SMS messages through the use of shortened links can lead to significant benefits.

Bonus: Access to click-through rates
