About Nettolager
Nettolager is Denmark's largest storage rental company with more than 80 storage facilities across the country. They were founded in 2010 and have not stopped expanding since then. They endeavour to keep up with developments and trends in the Danish storage industry. This means they often start new initiatives - much to the delight of their customers.
Service messages and reminders via SMS for successful communication
At Nettolager, customers can store their belongings according to their needs.
A company like Nettolager, which many customers trust and rely on, needs to create good communication with their customers. That's why they started a partnership with inMobile in 2013.
At InMobile, we developed a customised system exclusively for Nettolager, as the company needed a simple solution that could service customers via SMS. Initially, Nettolager only requested an SMS solution for a single area of the business.
As the value of SMS became apparent, they extended their successful communication to other tasks and parts of the organisation.
How Nettolager uses SMS in daily communication
When Nettolager customers need access to their storage unit, they need a code to enter pass through a gate. It's easy to forget that code. So, to prevent customers from calling Nettolager to get the code (where they would often end up waiting in a long queue), their customers can now simply send a specific SMS message to 1245. Then they receive the code to the door within seconds.
This is true customer service that makes the process easier for both customers and Nettolager.
"Before we introduced the SMS solution, we received 30-40 calls a day from customers who couldn't remember the code to the gates. Today, we very rarely receive calls as they get the codes sent to them in a text message."

Nettolager expanded to also send SMS reminders
Based on the customer satisfaction Nettolager experienced when implementing their first SMS solution - codes - the company subsequently chose to expand SMS to other tasks as well.
On a day-to-day basis, Nettolager often experiences that customers forget to pay their monthly invoice. Therefore, reminders are sent out via SMS in the days leading up to the payment deadline, and SMS is also sent out if the deadline is missed.
Customers can also reply to the SMS message when the bill is paid so that Nettolager can note it in their system. They avoid having to call customers to resolve missing payments, and save a lot of time because all SMS messages are automated.
"It is with great pleasure that we have used inMobile. We would definitely recommend their solution to others."
