"I have a background in the IT industry, where you are constantly working to optimise processes. We tested SMS marketing for the first time about seven years ago and quickly realised that it could make a big difference for us," says Bo Bache.

Unknown number was a problem
In the past, Sanadent found that a large proportion of their leads did not respond to calls when they rang. This resulted in wasted effort and a huge loss of potential patients.
"When we called from a number that leads didn't recognise, our calls were often ignored. Many thought it was spam. As a result, we wasted many calls and our success rate was low"

That's why Sanadent started using inMobile to send a preparatory SMS to leads within minutes of them signing up via their Facebook ads.
"With a simple message like: 'You have signed up and we will call you from this number shortly', we quickly realised that we could break through to patients," says Bo.
SMS strengthens patient contact
By combining Facebook advertising and SMS, Sanadent significantly strengthened contact with their leads:
1) Pre-call SMS preparation: After the SMS integration, the percentage of leads that didn't pick up the phone dropped from 47% to 26%.
"We get a lot more leads that turn into patients with us - that's a huge improvement," emphasises Bo Bache.
2) Follow-up SMS to leads: Leads that did not respond to three call attempts were previously abandoned. Today, Sanadent sends a final follow-up SMS, which results in a higher response rate.
"This approach ensures that we capture more patients and reduce the number of lost leads," says Bo.
