SMS workflows

Notification by SMS or email

In inMobile, you can use SMS workflows to set up a notification when new subscriptions are added to your lists or a recipient sends you an SMS.

You can set up the notification to send to both SMS and email.

How to set up SMS notification

  1. Go to the menu item "SMS workflows".
  2. Select the keyword or virtual number you want to set up notifications for and click "New setup".
  3. Then click "Forward incoming SMS" in the overview.
  4. Click "Next" until you get to Settings.
  5. Fill in the recipient's mobile number.
  6. In the "SMS message" field, insert the data field "Sender's mobile number including country code, e.g. 4512345678 for a Danish number. If the sender is alphanumeric, this field is empty." The data field "The entire text typed by the user" can also be included.
  7. Click on "Create".

How to set up SMS notification

  1. Go to the menu item "SMS workflows".
  2. Select the keyword or virtual number you want to set up notifications for and click "New setup".
  3. Then click on "Email notification" in the overview.
  4. Click "Next" until you get to Settings.
  5. The pre-populated text in the Subject and Text message fields will insert information from the received SMS message so that it can be read in the email notification.
  6. Click on "Create email notification".
