SMS workflows
Notification by SMS or email
In inMobile, you can use SMS workflows to set up a notification when new subscriptions are added to your lists or a recipient sends you an SMS.
You can set up the notification to send to both SMS and email.
How to set up SMS notification
- Go to the menu item "SMS workflows".
- Select the keyword or virtual number you want to set up notifications for and click "New setup".
- Then click "Forward incoming SMS" in the overview.
- Click "Next" until you get to Settings.
- Fill in the recipient's mobile number.
- In the "SMS message" field, insert the data field "Sender's mobile number including country code, e.g. 4512345678 for a Danish number. If the sender is alphanumeric, this field is empty." The data field "The entire text typed by the user" can also be included.
- Click on "Create".
How to set up SMS notification
- Go to the menu item "SMS workflows".
- Select the keyword or virtual number you want to set up notifications for and click "New setup".
- Then click on "Email notification" in the overview.
- Click "Next" until you get to Settings.
- The pre-populated text in the Subject and Text message fields will insert information from the received SMS message so that it can be read in the email notification.
- Click on "Create email notification".
